Introduction

Steve Young is an American former professional NFL player with an estimated net worth of $200 Million.

Over fifteen NFL seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers, Steve Young threw for 33,124 yards and 232 touchdowns. He earned approximately $49.4 million in salary and bonuses, averaging $3.29 million annually, in addition to which he has generated income from endorsements and his work as a sports analyst and entrepreneur.

Quick Facts

  • Earned $49.4 million during his NFL career
  • The most valuable contract was a six-year extension worth $49.2 million with the 49ers
  • He retired from football during the 1999 season.
  • Steve got his chance to shine when he replaced Joe Montana in 1991, but he was injured and got replaced.
  • Steve was the first 49er to wear a number 8 jersey in the team’s history and was then retired in 2008.

Early Life

Steve Young was already dribbling a basketball at two years old and dressed up as a BYU football player during his first Halloween. He had a passion for exercising and was already doing push-ups at 3.

Steve has two siblings: a sister named Melissa and his brother Mike (who was born on Steve’s birthday). Unfortunately, from a young age, Steve suffered from separation anxiety. This resulted in his mom having to sit in on classes for a few weeks, and Steve found that he battled to stay over at other people’s houses.

In 1969, Steve moved with his family to Greenwich, Connecticut. He attended Greenwich High School, where he joined the Cardinals football team and played as their quarterback. Steve was highly successful while playing for his high school team and became co-captain during his senior year.

With his obvious talents and academic success, Steve was recruited by the University of North Carolina. There was no doubt about his running abilities, but initially, it became apparent that his passing skills weren’t up to standard. However, after loads of practice, Steve was able to perfect his passing abilities.

His college career was very successful, and he soon started breaking records. Steve ended his career on a high, with 592 passes and 18 touchdowns, and was later inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Football Career

Because of his early success, he was selected to join the Los Angeles Express during the 1984 USFL Draft. His first contract was impressive: he had signed a $40 million 10-year contract. Steve is not a typical athlete but has an exceptional financial brain. This resulted in him accepting the 10-year contract only if the payment was made annually over a period of forty years.

Young could have joined the NFL in 1984, but wanted to stay with the Los Angeles Express to continue training under their coaches.

Steve was already breaking records and performing excellently, but the Los Angeles Express was doomed to failure. They had to pay out a $1.4 million settlement as they could not continue to pay the yearly installments on his $40 million contract.

Steve finally joined the NFL and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He briefly spent time with the Buccaneers before transferring to the San Francisco 49ers. He started as a backup player for the 49ers and eventually became the starting quarterback after Joe Montana was injured.

Steve retired from football during the 1999 season as a result of receiving multiple concussions. This motivated him to voice concerns about concussions during professional sports and how to avoid them.

In 1985, Steve Young signed a six-year rookie contract worth $4.9 million with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The deal included a $1.1 million signing bonus, which helped Young earn $1.3 million in his first season in the NFL. Young would then earn $350,000 in the following season before transferring to the San Francisco 49ers in 1987.

He played the four remaining years of his contract with the 49ers before signing a new contract with the team in 1991. His new deal with the 49ers was a two-year contract worth $4.5 million. Young earned $1.98 million in 1991 and $2.5 million in 1992.

In 1993, he signed a five-year extension with San Francisco worth $25.25 million. This deal included a $2.5 million signing bonus, which helped Young earn $8.25 million for the 1993/94 season. Young would earn an average of $4 million per year for the next four years.

In 1998, Young signed a six-year extension worth $49.2 million with the 49ers, which included a $7.5 million signing bonus. However, the deal did not include guarantees, and after two years, the 49ers’ management urged Young to retire. If he did not retire, he would be cut from the team.

Young earned just $16.25 million of the potential $49.2 million before retiring in 2000.

During his NFL career, Steve Young earned a total of $49.4 million.

Estimated Net Worth

Steve Young’s wealth is tied to his investment in the private equity firm HGGC. He has utilized his law degree effectively, transitioning from a well-paid professional athlete to the managing director of a highly successful, niche investment firm. He is the managing partner of HGGC, a private equity firm he co-founded. He sits on the policy investment and executive committees, overseeing the acquisition of niche software companies.

Young was previously the Managing Director and co-founder of Sorenson Capital, a private equity firm that operated in the middle market and leveraged buyouts in the Western United States. The partners split in 2007 to start HGGC Capital.

Steve and his partner, Rich Lawson, now oversee a company with over $2 billion in assets under management. Young uses the skills he developed playing football to help manage his day-to-day business.

In 2025, Steve Young’s net worth is estimated to be $200 Million.

How Does Steve Young Spend His Money?

Steve is recognized for his philanthropic endeavors and as the founder of the Forever Young Foundation. This non-profit organization helps support children with difficulties, such as financial issues, physical problems, and emotional trauma.

Forever Young Zones and 8 to 80 Zones are two development initiatives offering cutting-edge interactive play spaces in children’s hospitals and technology and multimedia laboratories for residents of marginalized regions.

Building and expanding schools in Africa is one of the foundation’s global goals, aiming to improve the educational, athletic, and health prospects of African children.

Steve lives in a Palo Alto neighborhood that is popular for housing multiple billionaires worldwide. He spends a lot of time on the golf course in Scottsdale, Arizona, catching up with friends, conducting business, and staying in touch with his father and brothers. It’s where deals are done, charity events are arranged, and he gets to relax and spend time in the open air.

Steve does not live an ostentatious life and focuses on raising his family in a hardworking, traditional way. You won’t find him wasting money on luxury cars; he prefers a more modest lifestyle.

He believes that if you have children, driving a van is the logical choice. It has ample space for kids to spread out with their schoolbooks, sports kit, and enough cup holders to keep everyone’s cold drink safe when on the move.

Despite his wealth, Steve drives himself around, preferring to keep a low profile and live an ordinary life.

Personal Life

Steve met his wife, Barbara Graham, on a blind date, and the two connected almost immediately. She was a model from Scottsdale, Arizona, and neither of them thought of meeting or getting to know each other as they came from totally different worlds.

The couple married in 2000 and had four children: Jackson, Steven, Summer, and Braden Young. When she met him, Steve’s wife knew little about football and was more interested in his views on religion, politics, and social issues. They couldn’t have been more different, but their partnership works wonderfully.

As a Mormon, Steve doesn’t drink alcohol and believes in traditional family values. The couple has been together for 20 years, and their partnership is stronger than ever.

Josh Allen is an American professional NFL quarterback for the Buffalo Bills with an estimated net worth of $70 Million.

Over seven NFL seasons solely with the Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen has thrown for 26,434 yards and 195 touchdowns. His career earnings currently total $232.6 million, averaging $29.1 million annually in salary and bonuses. However, that doesn’t include his additional income from off-field endeavors such as endorsement deals and business ventures.

Quick Facts

  • Projected to earn $58 million for the 2025 season
  • Lifetime earnings total $232.6 million from salary & bonuses
  • Signed a 6-year, $258 million extension with the Buffalo Bills in 2021
  • Signed a 6-year, $330 million extension with the team in 2025
  • Ranked the seventh-highest-paid player in the NFL

Net Worth History

When we first listed Josh Allen’s net worth in 2021, he was estimated to be worth approximately $14 million. However, this figure was evaluated just before he signed his $258 million extension, and at the time, he’d only earned a total of $38 million in the NFL. Since then, he’s gained at least an additional $136 million with the Bills, and thus, his net worth has skyrocketed. As of 2025, Allen’s net worth is estimated to be around $70 Million.

The Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills drafted Allen with the seventh overall pick in the 2018 draft. On July 25, he signed a four-year guaranteed $21 million contract with the Bills. He competed for the starting quarterback position with AJ McCarron and Nathan Peterman.

After McCarron was traded to the Oakland Raiders, he started the season as Petermann’s backup. Later that year, Allen made his first regular-season appearance against the Baltimore Ravens. He finished with 74 passing yards. In September, the Bills announced that Allen would start the following week against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Allen entered 2019, being named a team captain. He led the Bulls to a comeback win over the New York Jets in the first week. Despite the Bills being down 16 – 0, he led the team to 17 unanswered points.

In 2020, Allen was among 77 NFL players who tested positive for COVID-19. The laboratory that performed the testing later revealed that all 77 results were false positives due to mishandling of the samples. He started the season strong in his first three games, with over 300 yards passing and wins over the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, and Los Angeles Rams.

2024Buffalo Bills$30,000,000
Total Career Earnings:$143,076,199

Rookie Contract & Salary

In 2018, Josh Allen signed a four-year, fully guaranteed rookie contract with the Buffalo Bills worth $21.4 million, which included a $13.5 million signing bonus. The bonus had a significant impact, helping Allen take home just under $14 million in compensation for his first season in the NFL. He played two more seasons under the deal, earning just $873,000 and $1.75 million, respectively.

Rookie Extension & Earnings

That said, Allen’s next contract, which was signed in 2021, became the 5th most valuable contract in NFL history. He secured a six-year, $258 million extension with the Buffalo Bills, increasing his average annual salary to $43 million.

According to the contract terms, Allen was guaranteed $100 million from the date of signing, with an additional $50 million becoming guaranteed on various subsequent dates. He reportedly earned $20 million in year one, but his most lucrative year under the deal was 2024, when he secured $61.5 million. Although initially structured to last six years, a new deal was negotiated after four years had passed. Allen earned approximately $156.5 million of the contract’s value.

Recent Extension Value & Projected Salary

In 2025, at just 29 years old, Josh Allen signed a $330 million, six-year extension with the Bills. This deal is now valued as the second most expensive of all time, second only to Patrick Mahomes $450 million deal with the Chiefs. It also means that Allen is the only player to have more than one contract ranked in the top ten most valuable in NFL history. To date, his 2021 extension still ranks 8th.

Allen is currently in the first year of his new deal and is projected to earn a minimum of $50 million per year until the end of the 2030/31 season. This makes him the third-highest-paid player in the league, behind Dee Alford and Justin Herbert.

Thus far in his career, Josh Allen’s earnings have surpassed $232 million, but with $272 million remaining on his contract, his lifetime earnings have the potential to exceed $500 million by 2031.

Real Estate

In July 2021, Josh Allen acquired a 5.5-acre plot of land in Orchard, New York, for $500,000. He built a 5,668-square-foot, five-bedroom, six-bathroom home on the property, and based on recent estimates, it’s valued at approximately $4.7 million.

In July 2023, Allen paid $7.2 million for a 2,808-square-foot, four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Dana Point, California. However, in July 2025, just a month after marrying actress Hailey Steinfeld, Allen put the property back on the market, seeking $8.5 million. It’s currently still available for sale.

Fast & Furious Salary

Diesel’s salary history regarding Fast & Furious has a few holes; his earnings from the fourth and sixth films are unknown. However, let’s discuss how much he earned from the other six he starred in, which had the most significant impact on his wealth.

Vin earned $2 million to star in the original 2001 film, The Fast and the Furious. Although he was reportedly offered between $20 million and $25 million for the sequel, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Diesel turned it down. He stated that producing a sequel would compromise the film’s ability to become a classic.

Vin has also worked as a producer on all the Fast & Furious movies since the fourth installment, which has boosted his overall earnings from the franchise. In 2011, he earned $15 million from Fast Five, which includes his producer fee.

Many low-quality sources reported his earnings from Furious 7 as $47 million, which would be incorrect. They lifted this figure from Forbes’ 2015 list of highest-paid actors; however, this doesn’t just consider Furious 7 earnings. Diesel had also voiced Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy and starred in The Last Witch Hunter that year.

In 2017, upon the release of The Fate of the Furious, Forbes again listed him among the highest-paid actors, this time with $54.5 million in earnings. That particular year, he also starred in and produced xXx: Return of Sander Cage, contributing to his overall earnings. Diesel likely earned a minimum of $20 million per film for F9 and Fast X.

Other Notable Film Salaries

In the earlier years of his career, Diesel earned just $100,000 for acting in Saving Private Ryan. His first leading roles outside Fast & Furious began paying him multiple seven-figures, including $10 million for xXx, $2.5 million for A Man Apart, and $11.5 million for The Chronicles of Riddick.

Highest-Grossing Movies

Sure, he only had one line, spoken repeatedly in multiple languages, but Diesel’s role as Groot still helped gross the MCU over $8 billion at the box office. Avengers: Endgame grossed $2.8 billion worldwide, becoming the second-highest-grossing film of all time, behind none other than Avatar.

The other franchise that helped Diesel become one of the highest-grossing actors is Fast & Furious. Furious 7 performed better than any other movie in the series, grossing $1.52 billion globally. The Fate of the Furious was the only other F&F movie to gross over $1 billion.

The Fast & Furious franchise has grossed over $6.5 billion, but the earlier movies don’t make it into Vin’s top ten. Fast & Furious 6 is the earliest movie to feature in Diesel’s ten highest-grossing, reaching $789 million at the box office in 2013.

Here is a complete list of Vin Diesel’s ten highest-grossing films:

  1. Avengers: Endgame – $2.8 Billion (2019)
  2. Avengers: Infinity War – $2.05 Billion (2018)
  3. Furious 7 – $1.52 Billion (2015)
  4. The Fate of the Furious – $1.24 Billion (2017)
  5. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – $864 Million (2017)
  6. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – $846 Million (2023)
  7. Fast & Furious 6 – $789 Million (2013)
  8. Guardians of the Galaxy – $773 Million (2014)
  9. Thor: Love and Thunder – $761 Million (2022)
  10. F9: The Fast Saga – $726 Million (2021)

Real Estate

In June 2000, Vin Diesel paid $810,000 for a 2,111-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Los Angeles, California. There’s no record of a sale taking place since then, which likely means he still owns the property.

In October 2001, just after the release of Fast & Furious, Diesel reportedly paid $2.25 million for a 3,343-square-foot, four-bedroom home in Beverly Hills, California, situated on 2.14 acres of land. Not much else is known about the property, but according to sale records, he still owns the house, which now has an estimated value of $4.98 million.

At one point, Diesel was reportedly eying up an 11,000-square-foot, seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion in Sandy Springs, Georgia, for $3.3 million. The property features a 12-person dining room, a garage, a bar, an elevator, four patios, and a full gym. However, it was presumed to be a rental while filming The Fast and the Furious 7, and nothing was confirmed.

Additional Expenditure

As you can probably anticipate, Vin Diesel has a fantastic car collection. For starters, he has a rare 1974 Plymouth Barracuda. He also has a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, which is one of the most iconic cars in U.S. history. He paid $200.000 for this car. His most exotic and powerful car is the 2014 Lykan Hypersport, which costs $3.4 million.

Van Diesel owns a 1,100-square-foot trailer worth $1.1 million. The trailer features a high-tech media room, a kids’ playroom, two lounge areas, a kitchen, and bathrooms.

George Clooney is an American professional actor and producer with an estimated net worth of $500 Million.

Clooney has starred in almost a hundred films and has recently become a prolific producer. His films have grossed over $3 billion at the box office, earning him multiple paydays exceeding $20 million.

Like many of the world’s wealthiest actors, George Clooney’s net worth reflects his four-decade acting career combined with his work as a producer. Additionally, the 2017 sale of his tequila brand, Casamigos Tequila, was estimated to have earned him approximately $300 million.

Quick Facts

  • Earned an estimated $50 million from the Ocean’s franchise
  • Gave $14 million in additional compensation for Gravity to his friends
  • Profited $233.3 million from the sale of Casamigos Tequila
  • Tomorrowland lost $140 million but earned Clooney $25 million

Net Worth History

When we first discussed George Clooney’s worth in 2019, it was estimated to be $450 million. The most significant change to his net worth occurred two years prior, when he received $233.3 million for the sale of Casamigo Tequila.

Additionally, his wealth stems from acting in and producing some of the highest-grossing Hollywood movies over the past forty years. In 2025, Clooney’s net worth is estimated to be $500 Million.

Acting Career

Before his success at the box office, Clooney studied broadcast journalism at the University of Cincinnati but later dropped out. He also worked various odd jobs, including cutting tobacco for $3.30 per hour, selling insurance door-to-door, stocking shelves, and doing construction work.

At 17, he landed his first paying acting gig as an extra in the 1978 film Centennial. In the mid-80s, Clooney landed a significant role in the CBS sitcom E/R, which is not to be confused with his later work as Doug Ross in ER.

The series only lasted for two seasons, with Clooney appearing in just eight episodes, but it was enough to land him minor roles in other TV series such as Crazy Like a Fox, Hotel, Throb, and, more importantly, The Facts of Life. From 1985 to 1987, Clooney appeared in 17 episodes of The Facts of Life.

Breakthrough Acting Roles (1994-2000)

His breakthrough role came in 1994 when he landed the role of Doug Ross in the Drama series ER. Clooney starred in 107 episodes between 1994 and 2000, with reports stating his salary was $100,000 per episode. However, a 1998 article from The Independent indicates that the figures were in British pounds sterling, which could have equaled approximately $166,000 per episode.

If we take the first figure as gospel, Clooney would have earned $10.7 million from his work on the series. He also returned as a guest star for one episode in 2009; however, his salary for that episode hasn’t been disclosed. The popularity Clooney gained from starring in ER earned him roles in some of his highest-grossing movies to date, including One Fine Day (2006), The Peacemaker (1997), Batman & Robin (1997), and The Perfect Storm (2000).

Ocean’s Franchise (2001-2007)

While 2013’s Gravity remains Clooney’s highest-grossing movie, all three Ocean’s Franchise films he starred in have grossed more than $200 million worldwide. Clooney starred in 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven alongside Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Julia Roberts. The film grossed over $450 million worldwide, becoming the fifth highest-grossing movie of the year. It remains on the list as Clooney’s second-highest-grossing film.

Ocean’s Twelve, released in 2004, featured the same co-stars and grossed $362.7 million worldwide. George starred in Ocean’s Thirteen in 2007, which, although not as popular as the previous installments, still grossed $311.3 million at the box office. Reports confirmed he earned $35 million for the first and third films combined, plus an estimated $15 million for Ocean’s Twelve. This brings his total earnings from the franchise up to $50 million.

We researched Clooney’s salaries for almost twenty of his movies, as well as his salary for ER. As discussed earlier, reports state that Clooney earned $100,000 per episode for ER. If we examine the episodes in which he appeared, we can calculate his earnings per season.

For the first season of ER, Clooney starred in 25 episodes, earning $2.5 million. He appeared in 22 episodes across seasons 2, 3, and 4, earning $2.2 million per season. Finally, he starred in 15 episodes of season 5, earning $1.5 million.

In the 1990s, Clooney’s highest film salaries included $10 million apiece for Batman & Robin and Out of Sight. He also earned $5 million for Three Kings, $3 million for The Peacemaker, and $3 million for One Fine Day.

Ocean’s Franchise Salary

One of Clooney’s most significant additions to his salary and overall net worth was his recurring role in three of the seven Ocean’s franchise films. In 2001, he earned $20 million for starring in Ocean’s Eleven. His salary for Ocean’s Twelve was never publicly disclosed but is estimated to be between $15 million and $20 million. In 2007, he earned $15 million for Ocean’s Thirteen.

Gravity & Tomorrowland Earnings

For 2013’s Gravity, Clooney earned a $20 million upfront salary but received an additional $14 million in back-end compensation. He gave the extra $14 million to 14 of his longtime friends who helped him on his journey to success. For comparison, co-star Sandra Bullock earned $70 million from the movie.

Tomorrowland was one of Disney’s most historical movie flops, losing the company over $140 million but generating Clooney $25 million. This is his second-highest recorded film salary to date.

Casamigos Tequila Sale

In 2013, George Clooney partnered with Mike Meldman and former model Rande Gerber to launch the Casamigos tequila brand. However, it was initially done just for their own enjoyment, to be shared with friends and family. When they began receiving requests for over 1,000 bottles per year, they decided to license the brand and sell it to the public.

By 2017, Casamigos had attracted the attention of the British multinational alcoholic beverage company Diageo, which acquired the brand from the trio in a deal valued at $1 billion overall. The agreement was structured with $700 million in the form of an upfront payment, plus an additional $300 million in bonuses if the brand hit specific performance targets within 10 years after the sale.

At the time, this acquisition was among the most lucrative in the spirits industry, and opened the door for numerous other famous names to launch their own alcoholic beverage brands. Gerber, Clooney, and Meldman continue to be involved with Casamigos, and given a three-way split, they likely each earned $233 million upfront, with the potential the earn an additional $100 million each by 2027.

Highest-Grossing Movies

Not only was Gravity responsible for Clooney’s single-highest film salary, but it is also the highest-grossing film of his career. Gravity grossed $773 million globally while costing $100 million to produce. The Ocean’s trilogy also placed in the top half of the list, with Ocean’s Eleven scoring $451 million. Ocean’s Twelve grossed $363 million, and Ocean’s Thirteen took in $311 million.

The oldest film in Clooney’s top ten was Batman & Robin (1997), which grossed $238 million against a $125 million production budget. Other films to make the list include The Perfect Storm ($329 million), Argo ($232 million), and Spy Kids 3: Game Over ($197 million).

Disney’s Tomorrowland also reached the top ten, grossing $209 million. However, the film was a complete box office flop with an inflated production budget of $190 million.
